The boundaries which divide Life from Death are at best shadowy and vague. Who shall say where the one ends, and where the other begins?

~Edgar Allan Poe

END-OF-LIFE DOULA SERVICES

  • End of life care plan (hourly Rate)

This plan details how the dying person wants their last months, days, and hours to be lived to experience the best day possible. For example: With medical approval they want their dying process to be treated as naturally as possible; preferring not to be hooked up to a noisy oxygen machine or intravenous fluid line. They'd like to be surrounded by those they love, including their pets in a candlelight room with soft background music from their playlist.

  • POST DEATH DOULA SUPPORT (hourly rate)

When a person dies, there are so many details to attend to. This can be overwhelming for those left to mourn. Therefore, their End-of-Life Doula will continue to offer practical and emotional support to the family in the hours and days that follow or for as long as the family wishes.

  • PREPARING FOR MEDICAL ASSISTANCE IN DYING (MAID) DOULA SUPPORT (HOURLY RATE

This is non-medical practical and emotional Doula support for the individual and their family as they prepare for the day when the MAiD team administers this medical procedure.

  • MEDICAL ASSISTANCE IN DYING (MAID) DOULA SUPPORT (flat fee)

On the day of the MAiD procedure, your End-of-Life Doula will reassure, nurture and support you and your family throughout the entire day. They'll remain long after the medical team's support comes to an end and your family are ready for the funeral home's to begin.

  • GIFT CERTIFICATES

Would you like to offer the gift of support to a co-worker, friend or family member who is going through a challenging time or would enjoy a Reiki session? We'd be honored to be of support and service through your gift to them.
